FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE:  KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE 

Friday,  March 28^th@ 7:30pm in the School of Discipleship Classroom A

Do you know what you believe? If you were asked to explain heaven, sanctification or the evidence for the Bible would you be able to do so?

Join us as we look at certain teachings within the church and discover the Biblical explanations for these teachings. 

This Friday night, we’ll be breaking up into groups and looking at topics such as

·        Prophecies relating to Jesus

·        Heaven

·        The Seventy Sevens

·        The Signs of the End Times

 

TIME OUT: BRIDGE PRAYER- Friday, March 28^th @ 6:30pm at the School of Discipleship Library (Please note room change)

Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

God has says to “call out to HIM” and this is what we do on the 1^stand 3^rd Friday of every month, so come and gather with us as we pray for the needs of the ministry and the people of the Bridge.   We will also be thanking God for the praise reports so when the Lord answers your prayers, let us know so we can give glory to God.

FOURTH FRIDAY FELLOWSHIP!!

Immediately following the study, we will also be having our 4th Friday Fellowship.  We’ll have a fun time fellowshipping and eating together as the Bridge. It will give you an opportunity to hang out with your brothers and sisters from the Bridge. 

·        Our potluck theme will be Italian, so bring your favorite “Italian” dish, pick up lasagna, fettuccine alfredo or spaghetti; let us know what you’ll be bringing, so we all don’t bring “garlic bread”!

DUDE’S DISCIPLESHIP & DAUGHTER’S OF THE KING!

 

Join us on the 1^st and 3^rdWednesday of every month, as we gather together in small groups and break down the Word of God and make it applicable for our daily life.  It’s a time for us to “keep it real” and share what’s going in our walk with God and keep each other accountable. There will be a time of worship, the Word, food and fellowship!

 

We’ll be reviewing Ephesians 2:8-13 “His Masterpiece” and the memory verse will be “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

·         Bring your appetite and bring a main or side dish to share with the Bridge

Workshop Night!

We had a fantastic night of worship and learning God's Word. 

We split up into classrooms to hear 4 different sessions, covering crucial topics. The guest speakers were: Lincoln, Jose Sanchez, Nick and PTJ. The topics are listed in the last photo below.

Praying for the team that is on a "backyard" missions trip this weekend sharing the love of Jesus across LA! 

Bridge tonight March 21st!

Hi friends- we ARE meeting tonight at 7:30 in our usual spot! (Jr High room). We will have a guest speaker. 

Pastor D will be absent as he is leading a team on the Backyard Missions trip over the weekend. They will be sharing the love of Jesus to our local communities. Let's keep the team in prayer!

Bridge Discipleship this week

Dudes Discipleship & Daughter of the King (our Bridge Discipleship group) 

will be meeting tomorrow night (Wed, March 5th).  We're switching things up a little bit and meeting first in the MAIN SANCTUARY @ 7 pm for the "Pause:Worship & Prayer" & then heading up to Classroom 3A (where we usually meet) to eat, fellowship, & review Ephesians 1.  

If you have a desire to grow in your knowledge of the Word and deepen your relationship with the Lord...come join us!  (It's not too late! :) 

*Bring your appetite and a main or side dish to share.  (Please drop off your main or side dish in Classroom 3A before going to the Main Sanctuary!) 

Friday night recap

Friday at the Bridge, we continued in our series "The Calling: On Mission".  Pastor D shared from Romans 5:1-5 a message called "The Character: The Crushing & the Conforming".  

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God 

through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access 

by faith into this grace in which we stand, 

and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations,

 knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God

 has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."  

(Romans 5:1-5)

We also learned from the life of King David  "3-W's" of his character that we can learn from & apply to our own lives:

David was a "waiter"-he waited on the Lord (Psalm 40)

David was a "walker"- he walked with God (Psalm 23:4) 

David was a "worshiper"- He worshiped God (Psalm 5:7)

In addition it was our Fourth Friday Fellowship and we celebrated one of our Bridge leaders, Jose's birthday!

GO WORKSHOP!

Join us this Friday in the Children's Sanctuary for our GO WORKSHOP!

Get equipped with ways to share about Jesus (evangelism) and then GO into the local cities to practice! The event begins at 7pm. The night will begin with workshop and training.

Teams will then head out around 8pm and are coed. Wear a Got Jesus t-shirt if you have one. If not, bring $10 to buy one there. Once in the local community, you will have the chance to talk to people, share about Jesus, share your story/testimony, pass out a tract and offer prayer.
