Friday Night Recap (last week)

On Friday Nights at the Bridge, we've been going through a series called, "The Calling", to help us as followers of Jesus Christ to find out "What does God want for my life?".
Over the past few weeks we've looked at "The Calling"- (Isaiah 6), "The Command" (Matthew 28:16-20), "The Cause" (Luke 19:10),  "The Choice" (Joshua 24:13-15)  & "The Challenge" (Luke 9:23)

This week we looked at "The CHARACTER of the Believer" (Philippians 2).
Pastor D, gave us the acronym "SHO"
Servant   Humility  Obedience
which reminds us the Character of Jesus himself when he came to this Earth.

Jose, one of the Bridge Leaders, sharing a word of encouragement.

At the end of the message, Pastor D, encouraged us to write down an area of our character that we desire for God to work in...or an area that He is showing us we need work in!  We had the opportunity to pray for one another & will continue to be praying for these requests!

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men, And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself & became obedient to the pint of death, even the death of the cross..."
(Philippians 2:5-8)
