Friday night Bridge recap

Last Friday at the Bridge we continued in out "Transformed" series with a guest speaker, one of our Bridge leaders, Anthony.
We took a look at the life of Peter, one of Jesus's disciples who was transformed because he had been with Jesus.

Peter was outspoken, zealous, fearful in some moments and bold in others, who walked on water, denied Jesus, was restored by Jesus, became a leader the early church, and was willing to even die for the faith.

Check out some highlights of Peter's transformation in these passages:
John 6:60-71, Matthew 4:27, John 21:15-19, Acts 4:13

Through the message we were encouraged to examine our lives and our relationship with Jesus.
Anthony shared the quote, "A faith that hasn't changed you, hasn't saved you."

Our prayer is that we may be changed by the power of Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit working in us. May we continue to be transformed by the renewing of our mind & by obedience to God!
(Romans 12:1-2)

If you do not know Jesus today, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation"  (2 Corinthians 6:2)  He loves you and has paid the price for our sin by dying on the cross and rising on the third day. Come to Jesus Christ today.
