FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE RECAP: SHARE HIS WAY

Friday
 night we continued our Bible series of “Walk His Way” learning how to share the gospel. The title of our study was called  “Sharing Jesus' Way:  Bearing witness of the Light.”

Jared shared with us that we are/ can be eyewitnesses of how Jesus has worked in our lives. He gave us the WHO, WHAT WHERE and HOW on being a witness for Christ:

WHO- Be a witness for Christ to those that do not know Jesus personally. For example the lost, brokenhearted, and/or spiritually dead.

WHAT-  We give the gospel- good news of what Jesus has done for us at the cross. Personal testimony of what Jesus has done in our life and what he is doing in our life

WHERE- In our workplaces, school, family, in our community.

HOW- are we to witness to others?
1. Having a devotional life to Jesus.
-1 Tim 4:12 “but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine
2. Having a boldness for the Gospel.
-Have to be prayed up and filled with Holy Spirit;
-Acts 4: 31 “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
3. Compassion and love for people
- Concern for people’s salvation; speaking in truth out of love.
-1 John 3:18 “let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth”

1 John 1:1-3 "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life- the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear WITNESS,  and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us-that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you may also have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full."

We were challenged to meditate if we are being eyewitnesses for Jesus Christ. It was a great service with great worship and fellowship!!
