O2 Experience----An experience for Denise (Young Adults, Bridge)

O2 Experience took place this past Friday January 30, 2015, in which a group of our young adults gathered to go. It took place in various locations and one of our sisters, Denise attended one of the O2 experiences. Below she shares with us her “experience”.

1. What was your first impression/ thoughts of the O2 experience?
I really enjoyed the O2 experience event. I invited a young new believer I recently met and I was glad she was able to go and be blessed. She shared with me a conviction she felt over an abortion she had prior to being saved and by the end of the night she had been redeemed. She was overcome with emotions. Praise God for His mercy and unfailing love for us. The worship was fun and the message was entertaining and touching; it really captured my heart.

2. What was the main verse / topic that was discuss?
The main verse for the first section of the event was
Proverbs 31:21(NKJV)
She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is clothed with scarlet.

The second part of the event was about Strength and Honor towards purity.
The speaker shared many verses in relation to sex as a gift and how it is to be honored. Another topic was being careful with what we watch, "garbage in garbage out". Reminded me of January's topic at the bridge.

3. As a single young adult; how can one apply the main verse to their life?
Although many verses where shared; my takeaway verse of the night was
2 Timothy 2:22 (NKJV)
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

God wants us to stand for honor and purity; that we may bring him glory. We must remember to be patient and know that God is seeking our best interest and has someone for us LATER. There is a time for everything :)
We must continue to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus fulfilling his purpose in our lives.

What a blessing to hear that this event was an encouragement, making lasting memories to be remember for our future in Jesus Christ!
