Friday night Pastor D continue our series “Walk His Way”;
emphasizing what our personal convictions are in this world, and what it means
to choose His ways versus what “we think, say, or do”. We were challenged to
examine what the word of God says, and what our convictions look like when we
compare them to biblical principles; for example, is it ok to get a tattoo?
what does the bible tells us about this? More importantly, do we ask the Lord
for His permission when were think of doing/saying/acting upon something?
1 Corinthians 6:12 (NKJV)
“All things are lawful for me, but all things are not
helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be
brought under the power of any.”
We learned that Jesus is not concerned about the outward appearance
but is most concerned about the “heart”, and there is liberty and freedom in
Him. Do your personal convictions align with the word of God?
We ended with a great time in worship and fellowship.
